  • 'My main problem is that I find it difficult to read from computer screens and for long hours. When reading for long hours either from books or from computer screen, my eyes ache and the words get all mixed up. I only have 60% of my vision wearing glasses and this is connected with my dyslexia.
I need extra time to do everything.
When typing I tend to think fast than I write and for this reason I jump words. However, I think I type and write very fast. But my thoughts are extremely  fast.
When nervous or anxious, I tend to have difficult to express myself, particular in English language, then I tend to think in my mother tongue and it is like I can speak neither. I just cant speak well. If I get nervous when speaking in my mother tongue, my hands shake. Once I get used to the audience and the situation, I tend to do quite well, but still changing directions (right or left) and swapping some letters, both in writing or speaking.
I get very upset when people confuse my disability with my intelligence and they try to explain things as if I am a retarded. I have gone through this during my studies at Middlesex University, reason why I left my course.
Also because I cant express all in words when anxious I tend to cry, as a way of expressing myself.
Thank you for doing this research, I hope it will help the society in the future to understand us better and teach us differently.
    Thank you'
